Facilities
Café
We have a small attractive Café, which serves a variety of snacks including cold sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes, biscuits, crisps, hot & cold drinks and ice creams. Although we don't cater for special diets, we do have a small selection of Free From snacks. Outside there are additional tables on a sunny terrace, which is bordered by a raised fish pond and flower beds, and overlooks the lovebird aviary and surrounding open countryside.
Giftshop
Why not take home a reminder of your visit for you or a friend from our reasonably priced giftshop. With a good range of themed gifts, from fun toys to hand crafted ornaments, there’s something for everyone.
Dogs
We welcome all dogs in the Park - they are allowed everywhere except the children’s Play Park. We do ask that you keep your dog on a short lead at all times, and under full control. Please clean up – free bags are available at the café and entrance kiosk. Clean drinking water is available outside the toilets.
Please don't leave your dog in a hot car.
Play Park
Take a break while the children let off steam on the playpark. They can test their skills balancing on the activity trail, climbing up onto towers and platforms, going down the slide and fireman’s pole, or just hide away in the tunnels and dens.
Picnic Areas
Enjoy the sunshine and scenery at one of the many picnic areas around the park. From secluded tables in the Wood and Gardens to the group areas near the Playpark and Wildlife Pond there's an ideal spot for everyone. Bring your own picnic, or simply grab some food from the cafe - we do hot take-out drinks if you're in need of a pick-me-up!
Car Park
Car parking is FREE. There are cycle racks and spaces for disabled visitors and mini-buses adjacent to the entrance. Please see our Accessibility Page for more information.
Toilets
Toilets are situated near the entrance and cafe, and have disabled and baby changing facilities, with additional undercover handwashing. There are also alcohol-based hand gels around the Park.
