Wildflower Meadow
A short mown path allows you to meander through the lovely flowers and fine grasses of the perennial meadow. Take a closer look and you’ll see that this is much more than just a patch of weeds – even the seed heads can be quite beautiful. This vital habitat supports hundreds of bees, butterflies and other insects. The meadow is mown short in September to give seeds chance to set, and keep the coarse grasses and ‘weeds’ in check; so is not in full bloom until summer.
